The post will include the supervision of pupil work, invigilation of examinations, management of student behaviour and classroom support.  Knowledge and experience of working in an educational environment is essential.  Induction into school policies and procedures and appropriate training will be provided.

The Inclusion Support Assistant is a crucial role within the Learning Support Team in helping young people to achieve success through overcoming barriers to learning.  This support is through a combination of in class support, small group interventions and one to one mentoring. 

 One or more of the following qualifications is desirable; NVQ 3 Childcare, NVQ 3 Training and Development Support, or other recognised relevant qualification.
