A well designed curriculum enables all young people to become...
- successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve
- confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives
- responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society
At Key Stage 4, we have a personalised approach. Students access a Pathway to meet their individual needs. Some of these Pathways are facilitated collaboratively, within the cluster of high schools and colleges. It is key to recognise that although the Pathway will lead to a package of qualifications, they still allow flexibility along and between the route, thus making them less rigid and more personalised to meet the needs of those making their choices. We offer a Foundation Learning pathway. The commitment to partnership and collaborative provision to extend opportunity for those in the school and those from other schools is underpinned by our role in the development of the Creative and Media and Environmental and Land based diploma, and participation in Young Apprenticeship schemes.
