Birches Head High School raised a total of £808.63 for Comic Relief.
Staff and students took part in a variety of events including...
- Exchanging a piece of uniform for something red OR coming in pyjamas or fancy dress
- Guessing how many sweets in the jar
- Selling cakes and other baked food
- Selling red noses
- Penalty shoot out
- Sponsored Silences
One particular activity that students enjoyed was the 'soaking of the teacher'. Some members of staff volunteered to be put in the stocks and allowed students to pelt soaking wet sponges at them for a small cost.
