Birches Head High School - Birches Head High School

Our Y9 Girls Football Team made it 4 wins out of 6 games in a 5-a-side tournament held at Holden Lane recently and were praised by Miss Matthias for their hard work and attitude.

Y7 Boys were also in action in the County Cup. Unfortunately they were knocked out of the competition 6-3 but Mr Bloor was very pleased with the whole team, reporting an excellent performance throughout the game.

After a number of cup competitions, our Y11 footballers played their first fixture of 3 in the under 16’s league. The result was a draw against James Brindley which puts them in a strong position going into the next games.

Our student Netball Leaders have now started to help coach pupils at Carmountside Primary School.
