The under 12 girls football team have come first in the Stoke North and Stoke South Futsal competition which was held at Fenton Manor. Miss Matthias said “The girls worked very hard throughout and were a credit to the school and themselves. The girls came through the group stages of the competition gradually improving with every game. They cruised through the semi final against St Joseph's College and worked harder than I have ever seen a group of year 7 girls work in the final against Blythe Bridge High School, coming out winners after extra time and penalties. The girls achieved all of this with no substitutes”. They will now go onto the County finals later in the year. A big well done goes to Becky Johnson, Katie Palmer-Bull, Karen Moyo, Antonia Dean and Ellie-Mae Pepper, the girls can be very proud of their achievement.
