Welcome to Birches Head Academy. As one of the most improved schools in the City, I am proud of our students and their many achievements.
This summer our students celebrated academic success; a just reward for their hard work and determination to succeed. This determination, alongside the dedication of talented and inspirational staff, enabled us to see an overall increase in the proportion of grades at grade 4 and above.
This is a new and exciting chapter in the school’s history. Our developing academic success is also a result of the values we instil in our students; to develop confidence, resilience, self-respect and a sense of responsibility. We actively encourage our children to celebrate success and foster a sense of pride in themselves and the school.
