A huge well done to our class of 2020.
Our Year 11 students have shown resilience during these unprecedented times. We are now delighted to celebrate their GCSE successes. The Teacher Assessed Grades reflect the hard work undertaken by the students. These grades have been robustly checked and verified to ensure a fair and rigours process.
We have seen improvement throughout the year culminating in a marked increase in students achieving standard and strong passes in Maths, English and Science.
The number of students achieving both English and Maths at a grade 4 or above has increased from 43% to 57%
Figures for both our progress and our attainment have improved.
We are delighted that many of our students have gone on to achieve the highest grades (7-9) . The number of these top end grades has risen in Maths, English, Science and many other subject areas including Art, Geography, History, RE, Music and Food technology. We are delighted to see students achieving multiple grade 9s.
All of our students are going on to college or have been successful in gaining an apprenticeship. We wish our class of 2020 good luck in the next stage of their lives.
